We are a donation based ministry that survives off the generous gifts of those that believe in keeping us available to help those in financial distress. While it would seem that everyone who comes for counsel should be able to contribute something, Kansas law prohibits us from charging fees or even receiving donations from those on who's behalf we do creditor negotiations. This represents over 80% of the people we minister to. As a result, it is those who know us and believe in what we do that support and undergerd this ministry. Even with the over 100 volunteers helping in the office and providing hundreds of hours of volunteer counseling, without the faithful donations of many, this ministry simply could not exist.
