There is no attachment today. We just wanted you to know about the latest major event in Haiti. The President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, was assassinated a few days ago, in the middle of the night, in his home. His wife, First Lady Martine was also shot but they say she should recover.
Haiti has arrested more than 25 men they say are involved in the crime. It is unclear at this time who will succeed President Moise as the first in line recently died of Covid. And unfilled political seats (required?) for selection of the replacement make confirmation of new leadership very uncertain.
Many reasons to pray for Haiti. You know what to do!
